We have a team of friendly and professional drivers and a large fleet of tipper lorries which ensure we can safely and efficiently deliver any quantity.

Primary Aggregates

We provide a full range of primary aggregates for all construction applications, including aggregates, sands and limestone sub-base materials.

Our fine quality sands are produced at strategic locations throughout Southern England and are used in various applications such as house building, paving, golf courses sporting.  Our experienced production team can also offer a tailor made product to meet your specification.

IBA (Type 1 / 6F4 Variant)

Raymond Brown Quarry Products also offer Fortistone®, a quality secondary aggregate which is produced by our sister company, Fortis IBA Ltd.  Fortistone® IBA Aggregate is a sustainable and accepted alternative to Type 1, 6F4 and 6F5 capping and consists of fused clinker, ceramics, glass, stone and concrete.

It has been widely used in construction for over 20 years and has been approved by the Environment Agency, Highways England and local authorities with great success.  Fortistone® IBA Aggregate can be used in two major applications.  Unbound, it can be used for bulk fill and sub-bases.  When bound, it is ideal for road paving and construction blocks.

As a fundamental part of our duty of care responsibilities, we carry out a comprehensive three tier risk assessment of every site and every contract prior to supplying IBA Aggregate.  This provides certainty and confidence for our clients as well as providing a reliable audit trail for all the IBA Aggregate we market.  Social responsibility is at the very core of our business and our dedication to excellence in health and safety and environmental stewardship are the foundations of all our working practices and ethics.

Soil

Premium Soil

We can provide a premium quality soil with a 70:30 blend of recycled soil and Pas100 organic matter, blended and screened to 10mm. The end result births high quality enriched topsoil ideal for landscaping, turfing and planting aspirations.

The soil is easy to use and maintain, as it contains topsoil enhanced with a mature peat-free compost.

This topsoil is tested to BS3882:2007 and a copy of the test analysis is available on request.

Screened Soil

We also offer a more financially effective screened soil which has been put through a Screener, removing any stones, weeds and other material that are 20mm or above. It is commonly used in large areas of landscaping, flower beds and rockeries.

Our Fleet

Raymond Brown have a comprehensive in-house fleet of vehicles and drivers, who are all fully CPC trained, the majority of them long serving employees to the business.  The transport office is managed by experienced and dedicated staff who are always on hand to assist with customer requirements and to keep the ever expanding fleet running smoothly.
